Securities firms: every firm on the FSA register with Type I financial instruments business that is a member of the Japan Securities Dealers Association.
Asset managers: firms registered for investment management and Type II business that are members of the Japan asset management association.
Warnings: operators the FSA has named since 2025 for doing financial instruments business without registration. Entries where someone impersonated a registered firm are left out, so the registered firm's name is not shown next to a warning.
We add firms by these rules only. Nobody can pay to be listed or removed.
A registration shows the firm is registered for the business types listed. It is not a recommendation and says nothing about individual products.
